Welcome to The Grassroots Game, my site devoted to linking the very real past to the very real present using the sport of lacrosse by example. While most see lacrosse as a modern sport, to some it is more – it is a medicine game used to build relationships, strengthen communities and keep us in good health, collectively and as individuals.
The Grassroots Game is about the ‘more’ aspect of the sport and the culture surrounding it. What you will find here are my experiences with the current state of lacrosse in Canada, a fair comment about the state of the game and a critique of how it is run. I do so with our best interests in mind.
